Leading as an M2
The project
Project Overview
Baem Leadership partnered with Meta to develop a six-part leadership development program for their management suite across the organization. The purpose of this partnership was to encourage and incite behavioral change across managers across Meta to drive as much growth and impact to their teams as possible.
A key component of the program was a series of video deliverables demonstrating how managers should and should not act in various situations. This format of learning is important for inspiring change across teams because managers can watch and see in real-time how certain behaviors impact and affect their employees, and ultimately, business results.

Approach
Suora Studios partnered with Baem Leadership in this endeavor to provide full-service video production services as a core learning component of the six-part course.
The production of each part was consolidated and broken up into three total stages. A variety of office style sets were both built in our studio and off-location to to emulate various “Meta” style offices. In order to do so, we conducted extensive research on what defines a Meta workspace, and what Meta employees might look like in our casting selections in the first stage of the project.
An important characteristic of this project was to visualize, through production, how the interplay between employees and managers at Meta evolved over time (throughout the modules). The nuance of their thinking and interactions with each other was highly directed and produced to emulate the situations team members experience at work, so that our audience could relate them to their own ways of working and improve upon them.
In the second and third stages of the production process, we were able to leverage the use of animation to illustrate deeper-level frameworks, too, while continuing in our development of the interactive scenarios.
This project is a representation of the meaning of “full-service.” From pre-production to filming to complex editing and data management at scale, this project tested everything that a professional video studio can and should be able to do.
